Just saw a young clean shaven homeless guy with a north face parka on begging for money

Anyone else starting to notice that the people begging for money appear to be getting younger and younger? Hell, some of them don’t even look homeless. Unless you have a mental illness or you’re lazy as frick there is no excuse to be homeless for an extensive period of time. shite Burger King keeps a “now hiring” sign up year around. If I was homeless I would get a gym membership to a planet fitness so I had a place to shower, find a fast food place to work at in the area, save up money to get a piece of shite vehicle for less than $1000 so I had a roof over my head, all the while looking for a second job or better paying job, and I would continue busting my arse until I could afford rent somewhere. It’s honestly not that fricking difficult to rise above these circumstances if you have at least a few brain cells or common sense

After getting burned years ago I never give money to the homeless. The only time I have was when a guy had a sign that said “I need money to get high”. I figured atleast he was honest.

Give money to a local co-op. They’re going to do a better job vetting beggars than you’re able/willing to do.

I saw one in front of OLOL earlier, with a clear throw away poncho. Nothing will stop them from taking everyone's free money...not from me though.
