The establishment GOP has never been staunchly conservative (in my lifetime anyway).
In the past couple of decades, the GOPe has allowed themselves to be hushed by the media whenever they talk platform, because they get accusations hurled in response. Immigration - RACISM! Don't support gay marriage - HOMOPHOBE!
The response from many has been to steer clear of anything that provokes those accusations, so you don't hear as much platform talk, and when that happened it appeared the GOP had no real platform.
So they became the party that compromises with the Democrats. That's all they appear to do.

Finally, we have a POTUS who isn't afraid of the attacks, and will act.

I dislike politicians in general. Bunch of fricking weasels. Trump isn’t your typical politician and that’s what people like about him.

Alex is amazing. Shapiro is a melting frog that compared the North Korean flag to the swastika

You talk about race baiting, he always Nazi baits

Ben Shapiro and Ted Cruz are very levelheaded and conservative leaning politicians. They both have ethics that this country desperately needs. Same can be said for Rand Paul.

I'm a big fan of these people. I actually voted for Cruz in the primary and would have voted for Rand if he hadn't already dropped out before my state. These people have principles and stick with them even when unpopular. I respect that. The people I disrespect are McConnell, Rubio, Ryan, McCain, and Graham who campaign like they're the most conservative people on earth but betray their constituents whenever the chips are down.

How come you guys only care about Rush Limbaugh, Alex Jones, and Trump?

Alex Jones is entertaining, Trump fights those whom we hate most, and Rush, well, I don't really care much for his style, but he lays things out there against the media in a good fashion. I cannot stand Hannity, though.

Whether you want to believe in major demographic shifts or not, as a party the GOP would be better off focusing on financial conservatism.

It's not sexy. People's eyes glaze over when you start talking about math. However, outside of foreign policy and trolling on twitter, that's basically what Trump has done. Even his foreign policy is all based on trade deals to improve the business climate in the U.S. Immigration and Visa reform is all about protecting American workers from wage stagnation, and tax reform was a major boon to the middle class. His domestic regulatory policy is all about curbing executive overreach and cutting back unnecessary red tape that strangles businesses.

Some people here have some pretty ridiculous standards. You don't have to agree with everything Trump does to be on the friend side of the friend or foe question. Reagan was the best president in my lifetime (I was born in 1966) but even he fricked my social life for two years in college by allowing the federal government to extort state legislatures into changing the drinking age from 18 to 21 by withholding federal highway funds from any state that didn't. No one should be confusing Ben Shapiro with Chris Matthews just because he doesn't see 100% eye to eye with Trump. Not every conservative that has a different viewpoint on certain issues than Trump is Lindsey Graham or John McCain. If I have disdain for a certain Republican it is more likely due to their spinelessness in standing up to Democrats whenever they apply more than an eyedropper of political pressure on them than it is their disagreements with Trump.

Prager
Rush
Shapiro
Dinesh
Tucker
Carolla
Jordan
Elder
Owens
Rubin

If I want the other guys side it's just turn on MSNBC or CNN. But it's too distasteful to watch too long usually.
