There will be people upset about O if we win Big.
Comments will be along the lines of, with this talent how did a coach lose to Troy, bla, bla, bla...

His post didn't do that. In fact, it made no mention of O, at all and said nothing to tear down Richt. He said he has great respect for Richt and merely asked what Richt accomplished to earn a "far superior" rating.

Your post on the other hand, did tear down a coach. Simmer down.

depending on the stats and particulars...80% will comment viciously with 15 bans before the game is over....just off the top of my head based on the last two months of posts.

Not tearing down Richt, he's a good coach and I was most disappointed when Georgia fired him. But, other than making (and nearly winning!) the SECCG in 2012 all his accolades belong in the "antediluvian era" of SEC football--that period before Alabama and Nick Saban established a dynasty which shows no signs of weakening.

And each and every one of your posts are classic examples of deep and expert analysis about which everybody hangs on every word?

You want an opinion, Sparky?

You need to get over yourself because, well actually, you are pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things and any thoughts that you might have that your opinion matters in the least is delusion.

But please do not stop your daily pontificating. It adds a slice of humor to this generally grim site.

I think we will beat Miami but lose to Auburn. That would actually be worse than if it were the other way around because it puts you in a must win situation in every West game from there on.

How many O haters will melt if we beat Miami? That's the real question.

The Anti's will NEVER admit they are wrong.

If LSU wins 10 regular season games and is contention for the SEC West and the CFP, I will be right here to say I was wrong and congratulate Coach Orgeron

But, let's not act like people don't have reason to be skeptical. The guy has one quality win in 4 years of being a head coach. He had 3 really bad losses last year alone with top 10 talent.

I'm pulling for him, but I'm also a realist and can be objective about LSU.

Facts tear down the coach, not an opinion.

Wisconsin was unranked and LSU was number 5. This time Miami will be top 10 most likely and there's a chance LSU won't be ranked this time. It's a bit different IMO. In fact, this very question may be being asked in Miami in reverse.

After the spring games SI had LSU #18 and Miami #11. Whether it's right or wrong LSU fans are expecting a win just like they did in Lambeau. Losing the first game on a huge stage will cause a melt. I think Miami is overrated and LSU will win.

I agree what you posted about O is factual. Your directive was "do not tear down a coach".... if you want to now place limitations on the directive, go for it.

He had an issue with beating Florida and winning the SECCG but he got there 6 times. And back to back times in 11 and 12 losing to the runner up and the National champion in the respective years. Hes a very good coach.

Not sure about melt but the game has some new implications from a year ago as Miami has a lot of momentum and had a great season. Blah blah.

He won the SEC 2x's in the first 5 years and did not in the last 10.

Damn well better be with the talent on this team.

It's still only the first game and not a conference opponent, but you're right, people will go crazy no matter what.

I hope you're also right about LSU winning, but I hope it's due to LSU beating a legitimate top 10 team, not an overrated one.
