The point was that he went after Foster instead of going after Goodrich and Surtain. You even quoted that and then did the usual spin around it.

You act like we went through murder’s row after the Troy game and came out unscathed.

Why do you ignore the Troy game?

It came down to Surtain OR Goodrich.

Is this what you tell yourself so that you can try to spin signing 0 cornerbacks in the 2018 class as a positive? It's flat out bullshite, just FYI.

Which game after the Troy game really pissed you off?

I was never pissed. I was however very disappointed that it took losses to Troy and MSU along with a horrendous showing vs Syracuse and being down 20 points to Auburn for the team to start to show signs of life.

I would like to see some proactive coaching this year instead of reactive. I honestly think the staff has a chance to be good. But, I'm going to wait to see it for myself before I say the improvements are certain.

I am bitching about not taking the guy who actually wanted to be here. That was a big mistake.

Here are Clemson's recruiting class rankings from 2013 through 2017: 2013: 15 Clemson 2014: 16 Clemson 2015: 9 Clemson 2016: 11 Clemson 2017: 16 Clemson

Gee, he always has this at the ready.

Let’s compare QB’s in the two programs, 2013-2017, shall we?

How about right before the Troy game when they struggled with the mighty Syracuse.

The Mighty Syracuse that beat Clemson and another team that smoked Mark Richt's team? That mighty Syracuse. At least LSU won the game.

How about that come from behind victory against Auburn because they shite the bed.

You can't be an LSU fan. I've never seen someone melting and crying over wins like it is a BAD thing.

A one point victory against that garbage Florida team.

Better than a 1 point loss, don't you think?

You then beat Arkansas, Tennessee, & A&M

Uh huh baby. More freaking wins !!!!

Ole Miss is pretty much the same boat

Yet another win. thanks for reminding me. Damn, this is some good stuff.

had that embarrassment of a bowl game vs Notre Dame that was lost due to COACHING.

Aranda had the players in position, they just didn't make the play. Losing to a higher ranked team in a bowl game by four points on a busted defensive play is not embarrassing to me. Were you embarrassed?

So pardon me if I’m not so thrilled about the way the season went after losing to the powerhouse of Troy in our own damn stadium.

It's pretty obvious you wouldn't have been thrilled if LSU had gone undefeated after the Troy game. You are a negative person. Only you can change you.

Maybe there is a little hope for your catastrophe syndrome after-all.

Look at the season as a whole.

Okay, the first half was not that great and caused concern. The second half was very good and caused optimism for the future. That was before the coaching, support staff, and player additions and all the true and RS freshmen who played becoming sophomores.

A coach who's afraid to go for the TD from the 6 inch line in a meaningless bowl game doesn't concern you one bit.

Shocker.

The Notre Dame pissed me off. Botched field goal kicking really irritated me cause it was an issue all season.

The LSU head coach had to deal with what was left him. He couldn't go out and kick field goals himself.

And it wasnt a fluke play. The dude made a helluva catch and then shoved Jackson to the ground

Yeah right and good job not remembering shite. Since you can't, here is a short youtube video of TWO LSU defenders missing the tackle.
Notre Dame game winning touchdown vs LSU in bowl game! Miles Boykin one hand catch game winning TD

quote:

I would have much rather seen us go for it at the 1 foot line then kick it

that's why you aren't a college football coach making millions of dollars. Hell, a 13 year girl would know better. this happened earlier in the game:

LSU had already failed to score a TD inside the 1 yard line.

1st and Goal at ND 10
(10:00 - 2nd) Darrel Williams run for 9 yds to the NDame 1

2nd and Goal at ND 1
(9:20 - 2nd) Darrel Williams run for no gain to the NDame 1

3rd and Goal at ND 1
(8:29 - 2nd) Danny Etling run for no gain to the NDame 1

And that was with three plays inside the 10 yard line and TWO plays inside the ONE.

Not to mention:

LSU's defense had given up very few points in the fourth quarter of the games the latter part of last season.

A&M 4th quarter points = 0
Tennessee 4th quarter points = 0
Arkansas 4th quarter points = 0
Alabama 4th quarter points = 3
Auburn 2nd half points = 0

So your opinion is that failing to get 1 yard on 2 plays in the 2nd quarter means you shouldn't try to gain 6 inches to go up by more than a FG with less than 2 minutes left in the game.

My God you embarrass yourself more and more every time you post.

Notre Dame also went down the field with ease the previous drive for a touchdown. If LSU doesn't get in the end zone, ND is backed up at least inside the 5, if not the 3 and with short time left would have most likely been conservative. The "we have Aranda's defense" argument would still hold water.

It was a chicken shite decision in an exhibition and didn't make any logical football sense.

Well damn, and people are bitching in this very thread (I think it's this one) that LSU didn't sign a QB last year. I didn't respond to it because it had nothing to do with the CB situation. Sometimes you have to wait to the very end to find out if you are getting a recruit or not. Foster did not commit to a school until national signing day.

Funny how he left Notre Dame scoring points in the 4th off of the "LSU didn't give up points in the 4th quarter" when trying to argue that LSU wasn't going to give up point in the 4th.........to Notre Dame.

The way he can spin bullshite is incredible. I'll give him that.

It's impossible to ignore the Troy game.

If I was a miserable frick and loved crying about crap in the past, I would probably sit around all day every day dwelling on the loss to Troy. But, I'm not a miserable frick so I can't help looking at the rest of the season also.

Your excuses are laughable.

How much is Eddy paying you, Derek?

I’ve never seen someone so attached to junk more than Fred Sanford, than you are.

Be an LSU fan, just like myself, but please STFU with the bullshite. It’s like trying to convince a chef that hamburger helper should be on the menu.

Orgeron competes for the SEC this year, then we’ll open up to him. He hasn’t proven he can beat Troy or not be embarrassed by State, Put a terrible UF team away, or win a mediocre bowl game by showing some guts. Hold the excuses for gulliable LSU fans.

This would be a good argument if LSU didn't have 3 spots available. Back to the drawing board Ree.
