Exactly

So you are for redshirting a starter? Has any coach ever done this

If he’s the one replacing greedy next year he’d be starting this year. If he wouldn’t be starting this year then whoever else is better than him this year (or Stingley) would be replacing greedy next year and we don’t really need him either year. Would always help to have him though

You really don’t think we need one of our starting 22 when there is a chance he can play? Especially at one on the thinnest and unproven positions on the entire roster

We havent needed a talented corner more than we do right now in a very long time. He’s actually on campus

Assuming Stingley is at LSU he will be an immediate starter. That leaves Vincent, Kirklin, Netherly and the signed in the 2019 class as well as Fulton all competing for the 2nd starting spot.
Fulton is a much bigger need this year than next.

??? Who are you referring to?

I stand by my original post - we can use him this year, but we need him next year.

NO doubt, would love to see him eligible and contribute this season. Next season, assuming LSU will lose Greedy Williams and Terrence Alexander (one year of eligibility). CB will be a critical position, hopefully infused with NEW FR talent. Having Fulton ready to play and contribute will be big for our team.
