You have any idea how many industries the US government helps subsidize
Another poster complained about Canada having a tariff on US dairy. You realize that the US government subsidizes dairy farms, right?
This idea that Canada is getting away with putting tariffs on our goods while we do nothing is just wrong. Both sides have tariffs on certain industries. We do it to each other - it isn’t one sided

Yes, and I'm against that as well.

Yep, and I think it's bullshite. Just like mandating ethanol in our fuel is bullshite and only serves to fatten the pockets of a select few while fricking the rest of us.

Never said it was one way. But how can anyone argue that our President shouldn't try and negotiate the best deals for OUR country? And to be honest, they need us more than we need them. Any concessions we give are a gift.

It is more one direction then the other and that is not debatable. Hence when they faux outrage on steel it is pathetic. Also why Trump can comfortably give the remove all tariff sound bite because he knows that hurts everyone more than us

And I also realize that if our dairy products didn't have such a high tariff on them, something tells me our farmers could sell more of their products, hence, subsidies just might not be needed then.

You just made Trump’s argument about why free trade pacts are meaningless, one sided arrangements that do nothing for our country outside of cheaper flat screens.
