What’s the feelings of Marceaux coming

A) If he makes it campus he will be in the weekend rotation.
B) It's going to depend on which team takes him as to whether or not they can meet his bonus number. We don't want the Royal, Tigers, Rays, or Giants to take him for sure. Also, we should hope he falls below the top 5 or so rounds. If he gets drafted in the top 5 rounds, it means whoever took him told him before they picked him they would meet his number.

Just today I’ve read he was definitely signing no matter where picked, then heard from someone else that he was leaning towards staying. So who the frick knows

His number is over a million bucks.
If he doesn't go tonight it's going to be less and less likely he'll sign. Occasionally there will be a team who'll pay way over slot for a kid, but Marceaux isn't the giant-upside type guy who usually rates that.
What he brings to the table is polish and pitchability more than a huge arm or plus-plus stuff. He has the look of a dominant college pitcher, more so than a future major leaguer.
That said, he's probably the most likely of the signee pitchers to get drafted high and turn pro. We'll find out tonight.

He’s barely 6 foot from what I’ve read. Hopefully that keeps teams at bay. He wants to come to lsu so that’s s good combo for us.

There's a guy on 247 that is saying Marceaux is headed to LSU, turned down a lot of money from the MLB. He had previously said a few weeks back that Marceaux was related to one of his good friends. Take it for what it's worth.

At this point I think it’s clear his number was higher than teams were willing to spend on him.

My son played HS ball with him. True competitor doesn’t rattle easy. Hope the best for him.

If they offer more than a certain percentage of the slot in rounds 11–40 they would lose a draft pick next year so that probably won’t happen.
