Why people take up for this behavior is so baffling. There is absolutely no excuse.
No one here is defending molesting kids. That’s wrong on so many levels.
We are simply acknowledging that we don’t have all of the information and that there is apparently some evidence to support his innocence.

nope. that is a job for the court. which by the way found Heimlich guilty of child molestation.

The evidence was that he pleaded guilty to register as a juvenile sex offender but didn’t have to at 21. He’s guilty. Geez. It’s not hard.

If this was a middle relief guy he wouldn’t be on the team. Plain and simple.
That’s probably true. But the same would be true if instead of child molestation he admitted to murder or manslaughter.

THIS. Someone I know (during a contentious divorce) was accused of molesting his 3 daughters. No one had ever heard anything like this from the children.
People (soon to be exes) do what they do to try to get the upper hand.

No, they didn’t. It never went to court. He took a plea deal so no jury ever convicted him.

You know who pleads guilty? Guilty people.

Not true. His plea deal had a clause that he never had to register as a sex offender. Whereas had he not taken the deal, he could have been found innocent but this type of accusation has a way of sticking in the court of public opinion regardless if the person is found innocent

Yeah? Ask the West Memphis Three about that.
One confessed.
After years it became clear that they were innocent. The courts (wanting to save face) offered them the Alford Plea deal allowing them to be set free, but had to admit in court that they did it. It was a complete sham, but they took the deal to get out of jail. One was on death row for it.

That means in the eyes of the court and the land he is ......wait for it.......guilty

He plead guilty.
The court accepted his plea of guilt.
He is a convicted sex offender. P E R I O D
But you are going to defend him regardless of the facts.

The WM 3 didn't all plead guilty. Just one did.

Dude was guilty. Period. Stop arguing. I bet his 4 y/o niece told on him.... NOT IT WAS BRUISING AND LIKELY HE WAS WALKED IN ON YOUR RETARDS.

Which member of the WM3 plead guilty to murder in court?
Posted on 6/3/18 at 8:34 pm to AshLSU
Yes he did have to register. For 5 years. Got damn y’all are defending this clown blindly.
With that, he would agree to undergo juvenile sex offender treatment, which included a number of stipulations. Among them: complete a bi-weekly counseling program, comply with curfew restrictions approved by the probation officer, have no unsupervised internet access, have no contact with the niece, have no contact with any child born after Feb. 2, 1998, not possess or consume alcohol or any controlled substance except by doctor's prescription, register as a sex offender and write a letter of apology to the niece.

Actually, they did. In an Alford Plea. It allowed them to get out of jail, but as far as the courts are concerned, they did it.

none of the WM3 plead guilty.
Jessie Miskelly confessed during a police interview and then recanted. He never plead guilty in court.

Yes they did. As I said, they were given the option of an Alford Plea.
An Alford Plea is a guilty plea of a defendant who proclaims he is innocent of the crime, and admits that the prosecution has enough evidence to prove that he is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
The West Memphis police and court system knew they fricked up and this allowed them to save face and avoid being sued.

I'm very familiar with the case.
An Alford Plea allows you to maintain your innocence while admitting the court has enough evidence to convict you.
The reality is the Alford Plea simply protected the state of Arkansas from the lawsuits of wrongful conviction.
Alford Plea =/= Guilty plea. -- not even close.
