The Advocate article said the shooting was on Mulberry Street, but the caption on their photos say North 19th Street at Chestnut St., so I am confused....
It's all right in the same area. A total shithole

13th murder this month,
What a damn shame. They can have Spanish Town, Garden District, mid city gov’t street areas - too damn close to the jungle for my safety.

Johnson said her son, 19, was shot about a month earlier but survived. She's in the process of moving to Dallas with him to escape the threat of gun violence.
Yeah....Dallas might not be much of an improvement if you dig a little deeper.

Baton Rouge is more than 3 times worse than Dallas in murders per 100k population. What in the world are you talking about?
BR is worse than Chicago, the city every BR baw likes to bash as a gangland.

Don’t be retarded. Most of BR is safe. If not for these threads, I wouldn’t even know a murder in some dark corner of the city that 90% of its residents never visit even happened. All the “BR is hell” chicken little bitches on here are tired.

Black Population is what seems to count when you measure murders, and BR is 2X more Black than Dallas.

70805 and 70802. A few 70808s...very few. Stay away from these places and you will be fine.
I just hate that, overall, the city is being punished and looked down upon due to actions of a couple thousand shite birds.

I don't know if I'd go that far. About 40% of the city is safe. The entire northern half is a war zone except for the area downtown. Most of the southern half is fine but there are definitely pockets to avoid.

Murder rate should decrease when the new library opens downtown.

Blvd de Province, that ghetto on the corner of O'Neal and S Harrells Ferry, Southpark off of Coursey, that neighborhood off of College at Corporate, apartments off of Staring, the Bottom. My point is that there are a number of places to avoid in SBR too.

You just nailed it!
100% agree with your assessment.

Those areas are a little shady but actual murders take place in two zip codes, areas where most people never tread.

My argument would be the bad neighborhood he would likely live in in Dallas would be just as dangerous
Dallas as a percentage has from what I can tell 2X less bad neighborhood though, which helps their per capita number

I am waiting for some incident on or near campus on gameday. Easy access from sketchy areas, lots of potential victims, very little security away from the stadium itself.

Murphy Paul is a hack. What a complete shitshow between him and Broome. NBR = South Chicago
Posted on 5/31/18 at 1:13 pm to fallguy_1978
What about the end of Goodwood near flannery? That part seems rough.

Well... it is out of control, but I am willing to wager the shooter once and if found - will be somebody that should already have been caged up and not walking freely amongst us
