Nah, just a small set up in a garage right now. Everything I've tasted from them has been pretty good.
Hope they can continue and become a legit place. They will be competing at Larry Fest in Mandeville on June 23

One of their beers I consider the best homebrew I've ever had.

Yup would be nice to have a local place that knocks out killer beer. Hopefully in the next year they can lease a place and self distribution takes place

I'd hope it gets pushed through by next year, or at least some type of version of it

The craft beer craze will be over before that bill gets passed.

thats stupid. Ill tell you one thing where you see an increase in sales during both recession and inflation. Alcohol sales.

People keep saying the market is getting saturated around here. bullshite. Look at other cities that are half the size of BR and have twice the amount of breweries than the state of Louisiana. IMO the market isnt saturated at all. BUT with more and more breweries coming online, places like Tin Roof and others better step up their game, cause they will not succeed with the product they are putting out in mass quantities now.

So in short....All of this is great for the consumer.

I agree with some of your points, but you have to at least acknowledge that the craft beer scene is over saturated. I wouldn’t call it a craze though.

We are made up of 3 guys. Right now we just purchased a 1bbl pilot system for my garage to start tinkering with. We will be putting beer in many upcoming festivals. We also will have sampling days at my garage when we release beers to get feedback on. If all goes well we will have a nano brewery in Ascension by mid 2019. Still trying to lock a few things down with the finances, but things look promising.

It is not. Is the beer scene saturated with crappy beer sure. But LA breweries are no where near close to par as breweries from cities that have been on this longer.

It is inching towards saturation which is why you see some areas closing (40 Arpent, Chappeala Farms, etc) but if they produce a good product then it won't matter.
As I said, everything I've had (only 3 beers) from them has been really good and if they would open today they would be above Mudbugs, Southern Craft, Covington, Second Line, and a few other of the larger places.

Depends. Stuff isn't selling on the shelf, but that doesn't mean there is a saturation problem with breweries. It means that there is too much beer distribution.

You can't take a city like Portland or Fort Collins and talk about how many breweries they have compared to the entire state of Louisiana. Most of the breweries you are talking about barely leave their property. In Louisiana everyone is trying to be Abita with distribution and having a strong marketing campaign when they first open.
