would have to be sign and trade but Cleveland doesn't really have the assets to make it happen.

He is playing for his legacy. He's not going to the Lakers unless they have a legit chance to win a title. I don't see them making those kinds of moves.

If he loses tonight and Houston lose tomorrow I could see him going there. Also I wouldn't rule out the Heat. They have a better supporting cast than what he has in Cleveland and Pat Riley is capable of making some moves.

Lol, I will root for him and the Lakers if he goes to LA. Don't want him in Chicago.

Lakers are going sign Lebron, Cousins, and George.

Would have to renounce all free agents and package Kuzma and Deng for a 2nd rounder to a team with cap space.

Lakers

Ball
Ingram
George
James
Cousins

Fill bench with championship chasers.

Would be second best team right now and a good matchup against Golden State with two elite wing defenders in George and James.

if the lakers are getting lebron, they will absolutely be able to make moves to get at least a third star to pair with lebron and paul george

Yeah that’s the only way I see him coming. No way he goes west with only PG to play with a bunch of under 22 players imo

Early round playoff exits are the key to GOAT status. Just ask MJ.

I’ve seen this posted quite a few times on this board by people who likely can’t remember watching a basketball game before 2010.

MJ lost in the first round of the playoffs in each of his first three years in the league—and never again.

Two of those years were to the all-time great Celtics.

Like who? Lakers fans say this shite all the time but realistically who can they get? Derozen? Boogie? And is that enough to defeat Golden State?

I think that's the only thing LeBron cares about at this point.

Philly arguably could make the best offer to SAS to get Kawhi and still be able to add Lebron as well.

That's 1 more year than it took Lebron to get out of the 1st round.

The Lakers, along with Philly in my post a couple of posts above, could also arguably make the best offer to SAS for Kawhi.

Yep. LeBron slayed the trio of Arenas/Butler/Jamison while MJ fell to Bird/McHale/Parrish.
