For the record who's responsible for the Tiger's huge surge in baseball

LSU baseball appeared to be spiraling out of control, Tigers couldn't hit and couldn't pitch to protect a lead. There were numerous calls on TD for Maineri to be replaced.
LSU is now suddenly playing like a top ten team, Tiger pitchers look all world, now the Tigers can pound runs or protect a lead. What gives, who's most responsible for this huge turn around? TD knows all, tells all, tell us.

The players are responsible, all year they’ve been terribly close to being great. Tons of blown wins and close losses. They are dialed in and focused and learning how to win....
Props to the LSU players...the rant is not an indication of our spirit as Tigers.

Pitching has stepped up and given solid innings, look confident.
Bats are about the same, and we’ve had some lucky breaks this tourney with errors from other teams that we’ve taken advantage of. The hits have been more timely.

This. In many of our losses, we were a play or two away from winning. A handful of plays could’ve made this entire season look differently. A young group is growing up, learning how to make those close plays, and gaining confidence. Sometimes it even starts with capitalizing on another team’s mistakes.
