Unless you are some over glass cannon te invisibility isn’t that big of a deal. The bigger issue is getting her damn tail to pop off before she dies.

i took it with the BSS +15 in one swing lmao
Kalameet's tail is the one thats tricky since he only has like 2 moves that allow you to hit it.

I was playing with some friends which I think fricks it up. We were Murakamo, Zweihander, and Scythe all +15. She died in about 10 seconds, but no tail.

gotta make sure you're hitting the tip. if you hit the chunk closer to her body, it doesnt register as tail damage a lot of the time.
i may have been overleveled for it, doint remember

We were definitely overleveled. 
That made it tricky since even one body hit did such a percentage of her health.

after replaying and reading all the hints and load screen tips,
Gwyndolin isn't as hidden as I implied earlier in this thread. pretty obvious
also I referred to quelaags sister as quelaana, but quelaana is actually another NPC that appears when you have a pyro glove +10
also, Laurenitus goes hollow when you acquire a pyro spell he doesn't have. I got the one for chaos servant +2 and he went down to the swamp to find it.

If you don’t tell him where you got the pyromancy, he wont leave firelink shrine. He won’t get mad or anything if you just say no when he asks where you got

im realizing i hardly completed any npc quests when i played years ago.
i never used pyro sorc or miracles so i hardly visited them.
i had no idea patches sells good stuff if you spare him in totg. i also never saved rhea.
i just beat nito and have zero intention on going back. sorry rhea

I'm finally getting my mage build where i want it, magic longsword, bellowing ring, crown of dusk, crimson set, crimson staff, all spells from Logan, etc. I just need the crystal stuff and I'll be set.
I can deal some damage now but man it was a pain getting here, this is my first play through
Fun as hell now though

nice. ive never played a mage but they look fun.
there is another ring that makes you a true glass cannon.
also a spell in the dlc that is insane damage.

Mage as a first run can be a bit tough.
