I went back to the asylum to grab the cress shield since I am a glass cannon now and it has 80% magic and 100% physical damage so it's key and
That damn stray demon came out of nowhere, was not expecting that
I tried to fight him at about lvl 36 or so but he is one shotting me and the homing soul mass works pretty good and takes a chunk, but only if all of the orbs hit him.
I'll have to come back later when I do more damage.

Not gonna lie I panicked when I saw that fricker drop down. Caught me totally off guard. I'm still a little hesitant to go back, but my Halberd is at +12 so I might give it another shot.

timing it right for each of his three different magic attacks isnt easy
now had i cheesed him with a crossbow outside the fog gate like some figs do, id deserve shame.

Just hit the Darkroot Garden and found the enchanted ember, debating on going from magic +5 longsword to enchanted longsword +0, im a pure INT mage with little invested in STR/DEX, only enough to carry sheilds and the tin catalyst, I'm guessing in the long run enchanted path is better than the magic path +10, but I can't tell definitively.

At 40 Int, the Enchanted +5 Longsword does 10 more damage than the Magic +10.
If you have higher Int, the difference grows. 18 Damage at 50 Int.
If you have higher Int, the difference grows. 18 Damage at 50 Int.

from what i've read, Enchanted is superior to Magic 6-10
Magic 6-10 is similar to the Raw path, it doesn't scale as well. But still required for an achievement
like CorpTiger said, the different becomes high at more late game INT levels

decided to mix it up and equipped a Great Club. brought it to +15 and it has A scaling
straight up face tanked the 4k 2 handing it with havels+mom mask & fap ring

somehow im completely over leveled , sl82, and great club +15 is just smashing every thing.
i thought bks +5 was OP but my god this club just wrecks every thing
will finish the game tonight and decide on ng+, sl1, or sorc/faith/ dex build next
ill prob do ng+ with a sorc weapon buff just to see how broken this build can get

the black knights in the Kiln of the 1f were kind enough to drop me a black knight great sword and black knight halberd in case I get bored smashing shite with the great club.
