Anyone with an open mind has gone from who the hell is this joe burrow OSU reject to gradually getting more excited with each inquiry. The tape, the accounts from coaches the fan base and others. The high school numbers. He may not pan out but JB is not a Purdue guy who lost the starting job. The upside to this kid could, repeat could be a game changer

Let it sink in that LSU now has the only QB from either the LSU or Ohio State spring game who completed over 50% of his passes. In fact, Burrow completed 68%. And he's only thrown 2 interceptions his entire football career.

Even in mop up duty our QBs look bad. When's the last time you've seen an LSU QB put the ball right on the money throw after throw? Mett did it in 2013, but he couldn't do that in 2012. You're talking a RS freshman to a RS senior.
The next best part is that he can actually run, and actually does run. Not half assed running either. I've seen him drag guys in a spring game.

It's foreshadowing for when Burrow leads us to a victory over Alabama this year.

The fact that O’s job is on the line.
The fan base was not impressed by the 3 QBs from the spring game. Add to that the fact that the fan base is extremely impressed with Burrow and you get your answer.
If O starts a QB not named Joe Burrow and LSU loses, it’s his arse. Especially if he eventually plays Joe and the kid plays well.
If he plays Joe Burrow and the kid doesn’t live up to expectations then O can always go to plan B with one of the other 3 guys.
