I guess if i was into metal or punk or something along those lines i could see that.
I never have an issue hearing what the singer is saying and a lot of times if i cant make a word out, i end up looking up the lyrics.

this was my thought on a lot of the 90s alternative type songs that were supposed to have a "message" yet the singer garbled through the lyrics and no one knew wtf they were saying.

Just wish I could remember the words verbatim, but it's just not my thing for some reason. Which really sucks because I can play some pretty decent guitar, have a passable voice (people like), easily stay on key no problem even getting the intonation and guttural nuances spot on, but have the hardest time recalling the words.... Strange, considering their importance.
