Was behind a black 911 in traffic today and his license plate read "not poor".

Do you guys ever recall ever seeing a personalized car tag that bad?

Generally speaking, the majority of people who have money don't flaunt it. As a matter of fact, you would be hard pressed to spot the "average" millionaire.

Here's a hint. The "average" millionaire doesn't usually drive luxurious or exotic type of vehicles and they certainly don't personalize it with a douchebag license plate.

So I guess the average millionaire isn't what we are dealing with here.

Probably well above average.

My bff's dad drove an early-mid 80s 911 with the license plate WARP911 for almost 30 years. Cracked me up. Was legit sad when he told me it got totalled last year.

Usually the context they are taken in. Which is a shame because it is a great place to be funny/clever, but too many people can't take a joke so the consensus is that it is douchey.

This may be true for the large majority, but there are a fair amount that do. Any large city that has a popular car scene will see a fair share of exotics and douche plates.

Knew a guy who worked as a stockbroker 25 years ago in a firm similar to that from the movie “boiler room“. Red convertible Mercedes Benz with the license plate EZMONY. He was a total douche bag and eventually wound up spending a little time in jail for some white-collar crimes he committed years later.

BETRNSEX .... Saw that a couple of years ago on the back of a Ferrari at Virginia international Raceway. I actually thought that was pretty clever.

Yesterday when I was leaving the grocery, I was behind a car whose license plate is "ROLTIDE." It's hard to imagine anything worse than that. It had Alabama and Newman bumper stickers. Pretty beat up, old looking SUV, which makes one wonder about the Newman bumper sticker.
