Specifically the 2 stroke with the detachable accessories. I have an Echo that’s about 12-13? years old. It still runs but not great. I’m sure I can get it running better but I’m really interested in the detachable system.

Is the Ryobi quality decent? I know Echo makes the same system priced just a little higher.

I have the four stroke with the detachable parts and once it falls apart, I will be going with another brand

its was great and cheap, lasted a few years, but parts constantly break off

I've had one in the past. It lasted a year like most of the cheaper weedeaters do. Get a Stihl or Echo.

I do, the joint on the shaft of that interchangeable system can strip out so be wary of that.

I have one thats about 10 years old, and i've always run Trufuel through it. Cranks after 2-3 pulls every.single.time.

ETA - looks like i'm a lucky fella.

Have had one going on 5 years. I have the weed eater, edger, and blower attchements- all work great. I’ve borrowed the pole saw attachment before and it worked great too. I have not had near the bad experience everyone else has had. Thing has never been hard to start, nothing has broken. I run just tru-fuel in it. It’s not an echo, but it does great for what I need.

Edit- reading more replies, y’all must be hard on some damn equipment! or cut grass for a living

I've had mine for about 4 years now. Use the weedeating and edging attachments. Never had a problem that wasn't self inflicted.

Have mine for about 5 years, with the edger and tiller attachment. Have to run it on half choke but it still works. Would not recommend the tiller attachment, just doesn't have enough power to turn the blades.

I have the exact one you are talking about. Also have the blower and edger attachments. Absolutely love them. I take good care of my stuff (clean it up once im done, grease etc)

Knock on wood, but would def recommend. Especially for the price. Good luck

Hands down the Echo is the better choice. Don't buy crap or you will end up buying twice.

Consider battery power: EGO is the better brand; I use DeWalt because the batteries integrate with my shop brand, which is DeWalt.
