This could also backfire hugely. Burrow could take that as Orgeron putting the weight of the world and monumental pressure on him.
when a player signed with Ohio State, or LSU, they want to start and play in big games. They know the expectations and the pressure.

I mean I think with Burrow, we can beat Miami, Florida, Mississippi St, and A&M (which all 4 games are toss ups) but getting a QB isn’t going to solve the issues of beating Auburn, UGA, and Bama. We still have a long ways to go guys

Look, the kid may be great...but this is a reach of epic proportions. He is not proven to be an improvement at all, much less that much of a leap of improvement .

You need to look at his highlights. This guy is head and shoulders above anything we have on the roster right now. Also he has some exposure in the Big Game environment if not so much actual experience. This guys home field was The Horseshoe and I am sure has seen games in The Bighouse, Camp Randall, Spartan Stadium, Happy Valley, etc... which are all big game arenas equivalent to what the SEC will expose him to if he comes. It also helps that he has been in a program that has been in the CFP chase too.

As an LSU fan, I say "hell yeah." But when I take off my purple and gold glasses, I say "we don't have the offensive line to make us a title contender."

That's great in all but have we forgotten that we have a shrimp boat captain leading this team? Burrow would be great but it is well known that coach O needs this guy to make it to next year but I just don't have faith no matter who the QB is with him at the helm.

Is burrow going to be making important in-game decisions in big games instead of O?

So sad to see many O haters rather have LSU failed than having O as the coach, even when the man is trying his best for the program. For God's sake, give him a chance, he's already the coach so let it plays out.

Actually Ohio State fans are saying that Burrow would have beat out Haskins if it weren't for Burrow injuring his hand.

Coach O’s selling point is really a simple one to Burrow, “Yaw yaw yaw yaw yaw. Yaw yaw yaw yaw. Yaw yaw. Geaux Tigaahs”

He is one proud cajun.

So a player who couldn't even win the starting job at a Big 10 program will come to LSU and win the national championship? Yeah, sure, let's go with that...

Sure glad LSU took a swing and hired a Big10 coach from a Big10 school that was little brother in their home state who couldn’t win the conference then came to LSU and won the conference twice and half a national championship! Oh, and he’s still winning the SEC and frequent national championships.

There were reports that Flynn was actually going to pass up Russell, but then he got mono and couldn’t compete. Things worked out quite well in the end

WTF? BS! Great white hope!

Urban has had multiple greats before, and had Cam not borrowed that laptop perhaps he usurps Tim? See how stupid that sounds?

Tom Brady was a backup at Michigan. Why does anyone say he's the greatest quarterback of all time. I mean he couldn't even win the starting job in Michigan. The truth is we don't know but at least Coach O recognizes a problem and trying to fix it.

Everyone recognizes that LSU recruits great college running backs, and Urban recruits great college QBs. Time to steal one from Urban

Rag on him how you see fit from your successful chair in life compared to his. However, O is a better recruiter and coach than Butch Davis, Larry Coker, Gene Chizik, Phillip Fulmer, all who won hardware by having the right QB so the rest of the teams efforts didn’t go to waste.

Don't know what evidence exists to say he's a better recruiter or coach than Butch Davis or Philip Fulmer.

Larry Coker you can have. That guy was a complete joke and rode what Butch Davis built into the ground.
