re: How must Brennan, Narcisse and McMillan feel these days?

On top of that, he doesn't appear to try to plan for the future. He was so invested in trying to win in 2017 instead of taking opportunities to develop other QBs for 2018.
This is a stupid criticism
If Etling was the best QB then he was right to play him
You don't bench your 5th year senior QB to develop a young guy that doesn't give you as good of a chance to win.

And a 100 page TigerRee thread saying McMillian was always the guy anyway.

Here's the question: Which is worse for the cause - the recruiting or the coaching?

3 QBs isn't enough?
3 is enough. But if you read my statement, I said what guarantee does he have that all 3 will remain into and through the season? It is more than a 50% chance that one of them will transfer once it becomes apparent they are not the starter, and that is without bringing in a transfer. My first grade math tells me that means we have 2 left, not 3.
So it's fair he should have to take that risk, but it's not fair to apply a little more pressure to those 3 by bringing in another talented arm?

And if it was that much of a need why didn't he prioritize getting one in last year's recruiting cycle instead of making a last ditch effort to get Foster?
I don't disagree with this at all. It is no secret that LSU continues to botch the management of the QB room. But if he has a chance to bail himself out of a bad situation by bringing in a talented transfer, then he should take it.

If our QBs are this mentally fragile, we’re already screwed

Bama took Tua the year after freshman Jalen Hurts was the starter.
Recruiting a QB to stock the shelf for the future is way different than bringing in a transfer junior QB over the current two underclassmen and a non-letterman junior.

Brennan, Narcisse and McMillan have all been in the playbook for an entire semester and have been practicing with their teammates, route timing, etc. The idea that a grad transfer could come in and take the job this fall is delusional if any of our QBs are capable. They all have a HUGE advantage over Burrow even if he signed tomorrow. Orgeron knows one of the three will leave so why not go get an insurance policy. This guy wasn't even a starter at Ohio State. He's building depth at a position where he expects there to be attrition.

Uh it’s football. Get over it

Narcisse is playing regardless

He doesn't. But this is something that should have been foreseen, which is why he should've made getting a QB a top priority last cycle.

McMillan has improved so much, he’s beasting it now. People don’t realize how much of a stud he’s gonna be. That’s why Orgeron is desperately trying to get a Transfer qb like a drowning man grabbing for driftwood.
This statement makes no sense at all

You think Tua (I think the top QB prospect in the country) went there to sit on the bench for 3 years? No

Would you rather have a Coach do whatever it takes to improve the most important position on the field, or as was the case with Coach Miles say we are gonna be okay, our QB's look great in practice. They wear those red jerseys and never get sacked, hurried, or look flustered. Any player, no matter the position, that's afraid to compete and win the starting job doesn't belong at LSU or in the SEC. I am tired of mediocre QB play at LSU, a game manager QB at LSU, and the lack of QB development at LSU. The top programs recruit and sign multiple QB's and let them battle it out. The Cream will rise to the top, and that's exactly what LSU is needing. I admire Coach O for seeking and wanting real QB competition. If you want to be the starting QB at LSU then EARN the job.

I think Tua, the #1 QB in the nation, saw Hurts on TV and knew he could beat him out.
