i haven't looked at it in a while, but i'm pretty sure Miami is close to being a tax team, if they aren't, and their reasoning for wanting to trade Dragic is more to save money and get some type of asset for their future.
They know they aren't competing for a championship with the current team, but they have too much money tied up to really do anything.

I doubt they would do a trade where they take on the same money, unless it's a nice expiring contract. Can't see them taking Solo under any circumstance.
Ajinca/Moore works and saves them $4M this year, $9M next year.
