Lake Charles or Shreveport

I’m well aware that neither is all that great. Does the OT think one is worse than the other or are they about the same?

LC: 2 hours from Houston

Shreve: 2 hours from Dallas

After my last trip to Shreveport, I'd give it the nod. Some areas are decently upgraded. Only thing in LC that have been improved in the last 30+ years are the plants and casinos. You know what those places attract.

I’m leaning Shreveport, but it’s fair to say they are very similar right? Both border Texas and are in close proximity to major Tx cities. Shreveport will have more non-Louisiana sports fans if I had to guess because it’s more of a hub for the Ark-La-Tx area.

Lake Charles still has Louisiana "culture" (not culcha...well, that too).

Shreveport just feels like an extension of East Texas.

Though Bossier is pretty nice these days.

I lived in LC for two years. Would never go back.

Shreveport isn't a city I'd choose but given those two are my only options I'd go with Shreveport

Lake Charles. Been to both a lot for my former work. North Louisiana is just a shithole.
