If their opinion was on how a spoon works, sure. I'm not calling up the spoon company to ask how to load a dishwasher.

Nope. Everything down unless it's completely full. In that case, spoons can go up. It's solely to protect hands. You can stab yourself with a fork, but not a spoon.

Ugh, Jones too.

I prefer to store everything with the handles down because you can fit more and you aren't shoving them in trying to make them fit. We use a lot of utensils

What are you people doing that you stab yourself? Falling on the dishwasher? I've never accidentally stabbed myself.

Nurse - Same on the punctual part. Never fails, we are walking out the door and he has to go to the bathroom, find his jacket, feed the pets, etc.

I don't stab myself, it's just the logic behind it.

I put them handles up because when I'm rinsing the utensil, I'm holding it by the handle. I would have to flip it to put it in handle down.

if you stab yourself with a fork, you probably should not be allowed to use a dishwasher

Mine will decide that even though we are running late....he needs to play fetch with our lab mix for a couple minutes before we can go.

Meanwhile I’m standing there at the door silently fuming.

I hate it cause I immediately get irritated/stressed if I feel I’m running late. He has been with me for 10 years... you would think he would realize how stressful running late is to me.

Well, have you told him?

I’m a time person as well. I’m very punctual. Believe it is a huge disrespect to another to be late.

I totally get that, and I try very hard to be on time. When it's something I can't control, like a team practice running 15 minutes later than we scheduled, he sometimes gets pissy. Even when we have nothing planned, so I'm not "late" for anything. It's controlling, and I'm not having it. He's chilled out some, and I've become more literal with time (rather than saying "a few more minutes" to estimate a period that may be between 5-30 minutes).

I have. I don't think he realizes he's doing it and/or whatever it is he remembers he has to do last minute is too important to him to NOT do it.

He favors a long tub soak after a night of drinking, and I'm talking like 2 hours. It has gotten to the point that I'm coming in and out of the bathroom every ten minutes going I'M frickING STARVING COME ON Dude will lay in the tub until 1pm like it's NBD. Waste of a Saturday.

Tardiness is so interesting, how it changes from person to person.

I have a friend who is so late to stuff that she misses it entirely. She will be like "I'm on my way" to come watch LSU or something.. and arrive in the 4th quarter. It's like why even come at this point?

I don't mind tardiness for casual group hangs or whatever. But I am very judgmental when you're making someone wait on you. I have no desire to sit by myself at a restaurant table for 30 minutes waiting on someone. It is rude.

Ended a 10 year friendship over someone's flakiness. I don't tolerate that shite anymore.

Holy shite. If you add up all the time I've spent in a bathtub since about age 12, it still doesn't add up to 2 hours. I hate baths.
