Per Shea, LSU was not ready to offer up that last scholly and Watson has removed LSU from his list. It's down to Texas or Texas Tech. The staff is looking at transfer QB's.

Personally I think this is a very smart decision by the staff.

Cousin called this, correct?

Oh well. Guess they’re planning on a qb leaving. At the very least they’re being smart about it....

Dont agree with the excuse of didnt want to spend last scholarship on RB

so why get him on official. its lot of money and resources. not that we're building relationship with high school coach or something.

that too after Coach O repeatedly saying we are short on RB through the spring.

we staright out got beat by the likes of Texas Tech (lol...sad days) and texas.

This is smart. We have plenty of RBs with Curry coming in and with the offense reportedly emphasizing WRs now. I’d rather get an early signee with this spot.

Agreed I’d rather hold this for the 19 class. Only change to that is if a real difference maker wants to transfer.

Don't believe the "didn't offer" stuff. He was sold on Texas.

For the record, I think we need an experienced RB more than a transfer QB.

Agree with ya :) we not fantastic at rb but qb is more of a need for 2018 season than rb is for 2018 season. Lsu will do fine at rb for at least this season. Just need better coaching, hold on to the ball and better qb skills on and off the field, need discipline. All those penalties can be cut out, at least bout 3/4 of them per game as was in 2017 season moving forward
