I found myself laughing out loud every episode and saying “this is so awesome” or something to that affect 
It really was. I absolutely wanted Diaz to win even though I kinda liked Robby I liked Miguel more and it’s bullshite he and Sam are on the outs. It’s basically Johhny’s story again and this time we’re cheering for the “bad” guy
I’m sad I have no more to watch I binged it in 2 days.

I binged all of them in less than 24 hours then watched the original karate kid afterwards. Now my life feels so empty.

I love the last episode so much!!!
I only wish "Rhea" would eventually act right.. but very pleased with the results and then the very last thing we see.
Season 2 will be even better.

Exactly!! I kept thinking it was setting up a Robby comeback.
It was perfect. Like I said though. I still wish Diaz would eventually act right though.. like be better.
Now I actually think we will be rooting for Robby in season 2.

Just finished binging it for the third time. Made my wife watch this time, and found myself constantly looking at her to see her reaction to things.
I know she doesn't appreciate it as much as I do, but she definitely liked it. I loved it. I am very much in the Diaz camp. I don't think he's "turned". I think the combination of some questionable lessons from Johnny and his trouble with Sam brought out the worst in him.
However, I still like all the other characters. I'm really not against any of them. Except Daniel's son. What a sloppy little snot.
I could see them bringing Silver back since he and Kreese are friends. But I don't see them bringing in Barnes.
Only antagonist I really want to see from the originals is Dutch. Dutch the man.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned an obvious possible antagonist for the future. Miguel's father. The guy Miguel's mother said is a "very bad man."

Should work much better in a series format like this, although who knows.
This makes sense, because I noticed Will Smith was one of the big producers for this first season.

My wife said Robby looks like a guy from a 90's teen beat magazine. Said if you notice a lot of the kids are taking on 90's styles. She thinks it's some reference. I think it's because 90's styles are so great they never went away.

Yeah, Robby's is definitely rocking the Johnathan Taylor Thomas look. He's the same actor who plays President Kirkman's kid on Designated Survivor. I guess he's in that mode where he pulls off ne'er do well dirtbag.

You can scrap watching the 2nd one all together if you want to connect any dots from the old ones to this new series. The third one generally only helps to understand why Cobra Kai got a lifetime ban from the tournament but it might help knowing some of the new players in the next series seeing that they are bringing in Kreese.
