Why are these people at the border?

When they entered Mexico they were in a safer country. There is no need to continue to the US. Any request for asylum in the US is based on false pretenses. Once they exited their own country, they no longer needed asylum. They have it in Mexico. Shame on them for dragging their children to our doorstep, and trying to enter illegally or under false pretenses. They should all be arrested, and sent back to their own country.
Next time they will stay in Mexico, if it's so dangerous in their own country.

There are parts of this country neither you nor I would want to live. Places like Harlem, parts of N.O., L.A., parts of Chicago, etc.
if some of these single moms move to L.A., and live in gang infested areas, they are no better off here than they were in the country they left.

Fox News was saying this is an annual thing, since 2008.
Last year 4, yes FOUR, were allowed into the USA from this annual caravan. I can accept that out of a few hundred to 1500 fakers that 4 could be legit cases.
I noticed watching the coverage that it appeared to be a festival, with food carts, beverage carts, loads of onlookers. As usual all media was zoomed on the maybe dozen actual protestors, with the festival crowd onlookers in the background turned facing the on demand chanting and other rowdiness for the photo op being staged by the DemProgfilth.

Laura was discussing tonight about the governments of those countries helping the citizens get here since they are pushing to get the remittances to their countries.
In just Guatemala, remittances are 17% of the GDP of the country. No wonder they want to enable those illegals to make it here.

We need to start taxing the remittances that go to those countries to pay for the cost of these "migrants". Use the money to build the wall.
