When you see able-bodied person park in a handicap spot

and they have no tag. Not sure we’re going to get a lot of honest answers here. My go to line is “I hope someone who needs that spot doesn’t show up” but I wish I were bolder.
I’m not going to ask this board if they say anything but what percentage of people do you think say something? Most people are so nonconfrontational. I am more aware of this then most because my sister is handicapped.

There's a lot of bad grammar in this sentence.

Most people with handicap tags are able bodied or just fat asses

I don’t talk to strangers unless I pretty much have to, lots of crazies out there, you never know

The amount of people under 40 here in Nola with handicap tags is absolutely mind boggling to me. It makes me think, "How come I never seem to see that many people walking around that are physically handicapped? They sure are driving all over the place..."
The answer, I'm sure, is probably something I don't want to hear.

50% of the ones with handicapped plates are gaming the system and get a tag because they have the beetus. They are the ones that have to get a Rascal to drive around the store.

I don't worry about it. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, like they have the decal in another vehicle or something. It's really up to the business. They can easily call a tow truck I guess, and show disabled customers they will protect those spots for them.

Scum of the earth, and that goes for people with handicap tags but have no physical disabilities. I’m sorry but anxiety shouldn’t get you a handicap tag.

What's worse? A perfectly healthy a-hole taking a handicap spot or a 400 pound tub of shite with a handicap tag that he got because he's a 400 pound tub of shite

9/10 times it’s an overweight black woman

Sometimes people have disabilities that aren't as visible. I'm with you guys about the people who shouldn't park there. My brother has back issues that cause a legitimate disability. You wouldn't notice it at first glance. If he parks in the back of a big lot, you notice it. Can't go on a witch hunt about this. It's up to the office issuing the tags to do that.

True story...
About 10 years ago I'm on a second date with a girl. Standing outside the restaurant I made a reservation at waiting on her. She pulls up and parks in a handicapped spot in front right in front of me.
I was pissed and told her she just embarrassed me and to get back in the car and park in a regular spot (obviously she was not handicapped in any way). She did and apologized.

IMO the handicap spots should be at the back so fatasses have to walk

I could get a handicap tag but I haven't because it's not immediately apparent and I don't want everyone judging me.
Other than a cane I look pretty normal but I can't walk more than a few hundred feet at a time.

Most people who have tags don't really need them so it doesn't really matter. All I need is enough space for my ramp to fold out and me to get out. Sometimes I park in the back where there are not many cars. I know people are lazy so if I park out there I know no one will park on side of me.. Because even if I park in handicap spots (I have to park in the spots that have the blue hash marks on the side of it) and there are idiots that don't know that you are not suppose to park in the hash marks.
Now, park a little bit into the hash marks so that a car can't park in there. One time I was getting out and some old man in his car yelled at me "you need to get back in and park your van better, no one can park there". I told him "you are not to suppose to park there. you can't see the blue hash marks?" and he got pissed and started telling me that people can park there and that he was going to get my van towed, blah blah blah. I just looked at him and told him "good luck gramps" and went on..

Sounds like you need a tag for mentally handicapped...

Now the Veterans spots are popping up, and the guys straight out of A school in their mustangs park there with no shame. Leave them for someone who actually needs them.
