“I think we all need to look in the mirror and see who we want to be.”

So Jeremy Pruitt, the new UT HC, not the Austin TU, at his post spring game press conference, paraphrasing the following observations/comments:
* Saw a lot of player step up today. Saw a lot of others quit.
* For the fans, expressed appreciation for those that showed, understood many had other conflicting events and for the others, asked, “Why?”.
* And declared to all “I think we all need to look in the mirror and see who we want to be.”
Obviously not a UT fan, but I think I am liking their leader.
Can only imagine the naysayers response if O stepped up & stopped kissing the dummies butts.
Considering the state of the board, I have to agree; “I think we all need to look in the mirror and see who we want to be.”

I legitimately don't understand what this means?
As an LSU fan I (look in the mirror and..?) want a competent AD, a competent coaching staff, a competent game plan and competent players. We don't have to win every game, but I want Admins, Coaches and Players executing things that make sense.
