I don't know if its premature, the consistency of his approach at the plate is why I think he will end up doing it..his size requires pitchers to throw to him and he doesn't walk or strike out much..He puts the ball in play.
If he decides to play until he's 40 he would have to average 175 per season for 10 more seasons and he is more than likely going to grab at least another 3-4 200-Hit seasons assuming he starts to decline at 32..Biggio played until he was 41 and Altuve is a much better hitter than Biggio ever was..

Anything that includes projecting performing at an all-star or near-all-star level for more than another decade is definitely pump the breaks territory.
Revisit it in 5 years, maybe.
