Who Would You Replace Paul Mainieri With?

Since everyone is pissed off about this year's baseball and some calling for Mainieri's head, who would be better?

This is what our fans do. They think there is no excuse for there ever to be a down year and if there is, then that coach shouldn't have a job anymore. There's no grey area. Win at an elite level every year or get fired. I wonder how they would feel if their own employers held them by the same standards to which they hold our coaches. What makes it even more mind boggling is they want to fire the coach in, by far, the most consistently elite program we have.

I do not think mainieri should be fired, but if the job came open tomorrow I would look at some of these guys:

I think Tony Vitello has a ton of upside at tenn. It will be interesting to see if he can build up that program. Hes a ways away from being a viable candidate.

I agree with you on that one. Not sure who Ed Dietz is but he sounds like a badass that is a hell of a coach. He could turn the program around.
