I know for a fact that they were in last year, 2010, and a few times in the late 1990's when future Auburn Tiger Lance Reynolds was here. Also a few times in the 1980's.

Looks like bottom half of 4A bracket was all lower seeds winning round 1... 2-Tigoa (Westgate); 15-Minden (Warren Easton); 10-Salmen (Rayne); 7-Cecelia (Franklin Parish); 6-Lutcher (Buckeye)all go down.

Youth baseball down the bayou has been terrible/ non existent for a long time. When I was a kid down there if you were serious about baseball you'd go play in Raceland. It has picked up a ton over the past 10-15 years as well as travel ball in the bayou area as a whole.
