What is it that people LOVE to do yard work? Does it give you an erection at the end of it and you have no energy at the end of the day to do anything else.

I worked my tail off in the yard all weekend. Eff that noise. I asked the same question. Who enjoys this.

In my experience most of these people have a chemical imbalance leading to manic behavior in regards to lawn care.
Also, bored retirees.

I admit that I find it odd. TD posters love to talk about it.

I love doing yard work. If I could make what I make at my regular job cutting grass, I’d do it.
Note: I’m also fat and lazy. So I guess I’m an oxymoron.

I enjoy it. I find seeing the fruits of my labor very satisfying.

If you know people like this, hire them.
No sense doing things you hate if you can afford to give the job to someone else... who loves it.

Translation: How can anybody not be just like me? What is WRONG with them?

Well you are a moron.
I like keeping my yard up and enjoy working outside for the most part.

You don’t get any sense of accomplishment from improving the land that you own?
Walking out the front door on Monday morning looking at the well manicured landscape is highly satisfying IMO.

I do the flowers and the garden. My husband does everything else outside.

I spray my grass with a light misting of roundup..... that way I dont have to cut it as often.

It’s called taking pride in what’s yours. To know your impact at the end of the day is gratifying. When people drive by your house, your yard is a reflection on the owners. There are those who are sloppy, and there are those who give a shite.

I mow my grass and weed-eat every 5-7 days and hate every single minute while I am doing it. It is a necessary evil. My yard looks just as good as the neighbors who live at the nurseries seeing how much money they can spend. I will be damned if I am going to purposely do anything extra.

Yes, throwing on some earbuds, having a couple of pops and zoning out for a few hours outside on a nice Saturday is the worst thing possible. It’s torture.

What? My zero turn leaves me with plenty of energy. That's why it costs thousands more - you pay for the energy you get to keep.

I enjoy the solitude of doing menial labor. Not to mention getting away from the wife and kids for a while is a great plus.

You know, some of us pay landscapers. Why are doing the yard work yourself and being sloppy your only two choices?
