The whole Arden key/rehab situation got me thinking..

During the honey badger situation Les was very upfront about the whole thing, stayed out infront of it and eventually cut the cancer loose even though keeping TM7 would be much more benifcial to the team. Not only did this show a tremendous amount of integrity but also cut down on amount of off the field distraction.

I feel like the way Coach 0 handled the Arden Key situation was much more shady and ultimately caused way more of an issue. All the sudden Arden is no longer part of the team for months with no apparent reason. During this time the media is going wild with it and asking the players about it. Next thing you know he shows back up to camp almost 40 pounds over weight everyone is led to believe it is over so me tragedy within the family. Begins playing no questions asked despite him not giving it his all and maybe even hurting the team. Then it leaks that he had been hitting the peace pipe and went to rehab.

I believe the way that 2011 Home Depot Coach of the year Les Miles handled the situation was cool and calculated. Really makes me sad that we made such a down grade:(

Perhaps he handled it better than Les. It's a matter of opinion. If your own opinions put you in that sour of a mood maybe you have a problem.

Are you high jackass?

It’s just weed. It’s fricking ridiculous and the rules need to be changed.

You don't have to reach this much to find criticisms of Edward.

Ok, fair enough and me too. But, I think the standard and expectation is crazy.

Les and O are both 8-9 win exactamundos so it really don’t freaking matter. Swap the seal clapping half-tard for the village idiot. Makes perfect sense.

Are you retarded? TM7 got arrested. Big difference between public information and what Key did.

The school kicked ol' HB loose for multiple failed drug tests. Les didn't handle anything. If he had handled the situation HB wouldn't have failed all those random drug tests. If anything Les' failure to properly discipline HB to start with is what led to his dismissal.

Best case: they prove me wrong. All the negativity and doubt from the fans and media brings the team close leading to a great season.

Worst case:I’m right. o gets canned and we start freah like we should have before

Oh, Boy! Another bash O thread! This has gotten to the point that if the O-negatives think the sunrise is a minute late, they'll automatically and reflexively blame O instead of checking their damn watches.

The idiocy of this statement can't really be overstated. Les Miles won more than 9 games in 7 of his 11 seasons.

True, but the seal clap part was amusing.

sure you do. You hate the Eaux why didn't you just start a post stating the fact?

Eaux may have saved LSU's and Arden's butt. He got him away or allowed him to get away from the program before the SEC, NCAA and LSU's overzealous compliance department sunk their teeth in.

But, if the rumors are even true, he could have done like Les and allowed him to fail multiple tests and be arrested multiple times like Ryan Perrilloux and Tyrann.

The coaches have access to way more info about their players and all coaches treat the players differently. Trying to compare the coaches by comparing their response to two different situation a is pointless IMO.

My God.....Only you could take two coaches disciplining players and somehow try to spin it like Orgeron did it "better".

Give him a few minutes. Before long he'll come up with a way to completely eliminate o from this situation and blame Miles for the entire ordeal.

True enough. He's taking his beating as well.
