Are they trying to make this one worse than TLJ?

I couldn’t sit through TLJ, and it had nothing to do with the SJW forced diversity.

- poor, predictable plot
- 1 dimensional characters (especially purple princess)
- poorly written script
- no character development
- over use of the “I can’t tell you why, we don’t have time for this because telling you why would shorten the movie by 30 minutes” trope.

I get your point, though. As a guy that is in the prime age for the OT and loves Star Wars dearly, I share concerns. I liked TLJ as a stand alone movie but wasn’t a huge fan of what it did to the universe.

I like Rey a lot as a character and I love how she was the conduit by which my young daughter became a huge Star Wars fan.

I hate forced diversity. It leads to a worse product. I don’t demand white dudes direct Star Wars movies.

For example, if Kathryn Bigalow or Patty Jenkins were given a Star Wars movie, I’d be hyped about it.
