Can y'all help me figure out the name to this possibly obscure film if I describe a scene?

Okay, I remember seeing this scene as a kid in the mid 90's (so the film has to be at least that old), and I still remember it.

From what I remember of this scene, a black guy has a shotgun or a rifle inside of a house, and he shoots a black girl who is probably 12 or so in the back as she's trying to run away from him out of the house's front screen door and she dies on the porch.

It was obviously pretty harrowing seeing it as a kid, which is why I still remember it. Just wondering if anybody has any clue as to what this movie is.

I've got one of these too. It was a movie from the 70's or so about a woman who was locked in her house but was getting calls from someone threatening to break in and kill her. It cut back and forth between that and a scene at a train station with a cop or the woman husband or something trying to hunt down the perp.

Just a shot in the dark, this sounds like one of the Deathwish Movies with Charles Bronson.
