So three years of law school at LSU will cost me $120,000 in tuition if I'm a resident w/o a scholarship? Holy shite! That seems cost prohibitive.
It's an investment you can pay off the initial funding over time. Hard to find too many other investments with that much potential, that you can do that with.

The Federal Government is largely to blame for this ridiculous ramp up in prices but in Louisiana the TOPS situation also helps to contribute to the escalating costs.
Every time these idiots in DC raise the Federal Student Loan rates all it does it push up college costs because the universities will respond in-kind but increasing their tuition. Until the Feds put a 10k or implement a significantly reduced cap on Federal Limit on student loans the costs will only continue to escalate.
If you guys think the student loan problem is bad now wait because in the next 12-18 months interest rates are going to start climbing and the increased student loan costs are going to wipe out financially millions of people/families.

When I was trying to transfer as an out of state undergrad in 2012, it was ~$20k/year if I remember right and there was no funding for any scholarships. Tough pill to swallow but not going to LSU ended up being the best financial decision I have ever made.

"When I was a student, I worked my way through college in the summer and had money left over, and didn't complain, rabble rabble good ol' days get off my lawn..."
Versus about 100+ grand in debt coming out of law school today.

How much does the Pocket Constitutionalist sell for nowadays?
If it's more than free, then it is overpriced.
