Why? I think I'd been cool. Not like they'd be a difficult to extinguish invasive species. Such large animals with low birthing rates could be quickly controlled.

Not necessarily. Pablo Escobar had 5 hippos in his estate in South America. They’ve taken over the entire area now and the herd has grown to over 60. And they’re creating massive problems
