Doing so will result in making the same mistakes the right did with the Tea Party movement.
Have you forgotten how the Tea Party movement completely flipped congress in favor of the GOP?

People aren’t attractive to lukewarm pussyfooting. This is why Mitt Romney got his clock cleaned by an incumbent with no business even being in the race with the state the economy was in.
We agree yet again! Well done sir! Its almost like we could share a beer together and see what else we agree on.
And then I go and call your wife an ugly big foot, monkey, penis-woman.
Can we now have that

Ouch. Rejected by a... wait are you one of the ones who believes Mrs. Obama is a man or who thinks its funny and/or productive to espouse such? I can't recall.

I covered that in an earlier post. There's no doubt that the TP was extremely productive for the GOP and brought with it unprecedented enthusiasm. The question is, at what cost? The GOP of today is not the GOP of 10-15 years ago....and I mean that not from just a membership perspective but from a policy perspective.
The closest conservative movement of note to have similar viewpoints of today's right wing was the John Birch Society of the '60's. JBS was very much kept on the fringe and was certainly not embraced by conservatives like Buckley due to his knowledge that they were WAAAYY too far out there to be accepted as a practical representation of right wing thought in the mainstream. He literally hated the JBS and often badmouthed them.
That's why it's so hilarious that someone has the nerve to tell me that Buckley would be proud of Trump. What a joke.

he N-word was uttered countless times.
By whom? It’s far more common for N-words to use the N-word more often than non N-words would use the N-word. Watch any YouTube video where N-words are in their element, without any non-N-words around and you will hear the N-word uttered on average about 2.5 times per second and it doesn’t seem to upset any of the N-words AT ALL.

This is a little dramatic. I will say I seee the overall point, though.
I used to be pretty vocal on an online community during the Pres. campaign. pointing out the flaws of the left. I got a lot of compliments and comments from people that were middle of the road.
There would be the occasional extremist righties who would agree with me, but would also spew out over the top racist stuff in regards to immigration mostly.
I would yell at them in private messages, telling them how they are completely destroying every bit of ground I may or may not be making by scaring off any middle grounders.
All it takes is a little tact to get your points across without seeming like one of the bad guys.

Given today’s circumstances and the fact that Trump has never postured himself as a true conservative Buckley would be fine with Trump. Buckley would be well more upset with those that called themselves conservative but end the end sold out to estashment big government policy

As a progressive, this is all kind of good news. There's a reckoning coming because "reasonable people" have had enough of this stupid bullshite.
Wait, you think progressive ideology is acceptable to "reasonable people?"
Progressive ideology is the fringe of the Democrat party.

"Progressive" is a term made up by liberals because "liberal" has become used as a pejorative effectively by the right wing entertainment complex.
The complex caught on and now convince right wingers that progressives are somehow worse/further left than liberals.
It's nothing more than a Luntz-ian game of language.

Didn’t realize saying “she” had a penis was considered racist

OK, WikiGuy.
I'm referring to the parlance of our times, obviously.

Liberalism, in most cases, simply doesn't apply to the modern democratic party. Classical liberalism means liberty, laissez faire, small government. On some social issues that applies to Democrats, but other than that, it isn't an accurate portrayal of the american left.
Neither party is classically liberal.
