Lol the problem is that they actually believe it, it’s not just a tongue and cheek drive by insult that gets their buddies laughing. This thread is asking for some respect and that the personal insults turn people away, but since they truly believe Michelle is a man and those aren’t their children then it’s a pretty pointless thread.

It's interesting because he has ignored the posts that have pointed out his family get together and his FIL using racist language in front of everyone and his friend who was insulted, but he most likely did nothing to stop when faced with the opportunity to do so.
It's also kind of odd because he sort of thinks he is using it to denounce the south and use a typical general stereotype to belittle an entire group of people with an antectodal example. Yet, at the same time, he admits it's his own FIL and his friends which is sort of ironic when you think about it. If I was him I may want to keep that info quiet if (according to him) he married into sort of a trashy group.

I've ignored nothing. I went and had a nice morning outing with my wife. I know, very cuck of me. Then I cared for my elderly mother. Cuck again. I haven't finished reading the thread, but I'll start here.
Have I talked to my FIL about his embarrassing racist language? Yes, on a few occasions? It had been quite the bone of contention between us from ~1999-2012, until I realized he'd never change. He knows where I stand, and he knows that I know his fringe behavior is as much a part of the problem as those he is racist against.
Did I call him out at that tailgate? No, but I tried to mitigate the effect with my friend. And he knows not to talk that way in my house. Other than that, I keep the peace and just call out the PT board for monkey-shite.

I was able to get him to see so many things about conservatism that made sense. And I changed a lot of his preconceived notions about the South. He honestly believed that the sight of a "Rebel Flag" simply meant the person was a racist. He said all of his friends and family back home believed that. I changed his mind.
And then, at a tailgate with my father in law... the N-word was uttered countless times. And most of the progress I had made was lost.

You know, I think you may be right. This thread is probably pointless, but I can tell you one thing...
olddawg26, I really thought the fringe of the fringe think Mrs. Obama is a man, and the rest just get a laugh out of the thought. But wow... some of these frickers are serious.
In my mind, they are equivalent to the Flat Earthers and those who refuse to accept we actually sent men to the Moon. They do exist, they are entitled to their opinions, no matter how dumb they are or how much they turn-off reasonable debate.

My god, dude... I was clarifying the mistake I made in the OP by not being more clear that I have no problem with reasonable criticism of Mrs. Obama. I haven't caved one bit... I AM quite disturbed by many things the former first lady has said.

You are out-of-line here, I was trying not to turn the OP into a two-page long TL;DR. I am not in any way casual about racist language and I do not associate with it in my life, and I have made attempts to keep my FIL from using it. I am NOT casual about it.

The "or so they claim" was supposed to be a key statement. Either this board is on the fringe or is representative of conservative America. I'm curious what you guys think...In reality I think it's on the fringe but many folks here claim I am wrong.

A reasonable question... thank you. Only been a few of these.
The MSM attacks on Mrs. Trump are WAY over the top. It is clear they are biased towards building-up Mrs. Obama and tearing down Mrs. Trump. No reasonable person could argue otherwise.

He likes the NFL and I like CFB.. but we have enjoyed watching a few games together over holidays. He is a scotch man, good stuff too.
