If police would worry more about ridding their stations of bad cops, they would receive uncompromising support in these situations from the majority of Americans. As it stands now, we never have any idea if the police are telling the truth. We already know that people who deal with police will lie and fabricate stories to prove innocence. Now we have to wonder whether the police are doing the same.

We have an out of control police problem, period. Maybe it's more of a problem in black communities. I think so. But maybe not. Problem is we have cops with tactical gear and donated military hardware thinking their soldiers in a way against the people.
Not all of course. Seems to be a growing issue though. We need some serious readjusting of what police are actually supposed to do.
