You just like the Wilson putter or your buddy couldn't get you a deal on a Scotty Cameron?

The 8802 is a sentimental club for me.

I grew up a huge Phil Mickelson fan in the early 90s. Back then, he was playing the 8802 or had his club sponsor create an 8802 model in their brand. I cut lawns and did odd jobs for money as a 12 year old so I could go to Edwin Watts and buy my very own 8802.

I still own it to this day and will never get rid of it. It was the first putter I ever bought.

That being said, I do plan to upgrade to a Scotty Cameron. I am currently in love with the feel of the Newport 3. But even when I switch, I’ll probably leave the 8802 in my bag for sentimental purposes.

I have never held a Scotty Cameron putter in my hands. No need to torture myself when I know I couldn't afford one

I put off changing putters as long as I possibly could, but as much as I love my blade, it is not the best for lags, which has been killing me lately. Not so much aiming it, but you’ve got to really whack it, which makes it hard to get speed right. I just think I could benefit from better technology which should make my lag strokes easier and more constant in determining speed.

I am playing a Taylormade Rocketballz driver and I hit it Ok. It is a d4 swingweight. I have been wanting to try a d2 driver like the Titliest 917 D2. What is it about your 909 D2 that you like so much.
I have a Callaway XR 3 hybrid that is a d2 sw and I love it so I was curious what a d2 driver would do for me

I just hit it really well. I’m afraid of changing drivers
