man I forgot how great this movie is. Deserved the awards it won. Everyone was great and I felt for Salieri man haha.

Really was a great movie. Didn't the kid from Animal House win or get nominated for his role?

The actor who portrayed Salieri won the Oscar for that performance. It’s an absolutely brilliant film. Not like a lot of the trash produced today

Absolutely a brilliantly executed and acted script. Just phenomenal. Glad you brought it up OP. Love that movie.

One of my top 5 movies of all time.

Best part of the movie for me is when Sallieri looks at the crucifix on the wall, and thankfully says "Grazie Signore" bc he believes he had divine intervention in composing a new piece of music to honor Amadeus' visit.
Then after Amadeus basically humiliates Sallieri by rewriting the piece into a far better piece, Sallieri gets home, looks at the crucifix on the wall, & with a most pissed-off look, he sarcastically says, "Grazie Signore".

Truly a great film, but man is it ever a downer.
Not exactly the "feel-good film of the year"

Thanks for this. In the middle of my rewatch for the first time in probably 10 years. This is such a great movie.
