Forget a Star Quality DE or DT (with no physical or headcase issues) being available at 27..... it won’t happen. Maybe Arden Key or Maurice Hurst slide down but both have issues of some type. Payne from Alabama not sliding that far down....... neither will Vitae (NG).

Keep watching film and I’m thinking DJ Moore is the guy for Saints at 27 !! Think he makes it to 27 !!
He can play the slot and as returner. He will make an Immediate Impact !!

Trade into 2nd round and get TE.

Saints might not pass him up. He is such a lock to be a good pro.

I’d like to get a kick and punt returner.

Added bonus. But take out KO return specialist and focus on good punt returners. The days of the KO return in the NFL are numbered I think.

I know people do it but it is really hard to argue with a guaranteed 25 yards...don't even have a guy back there.

I am still surprised Kamara had as much success as he had with it last year.

Tommy Lewis was constantly asking me to whoop his arse when he took it out everytime to the 15.

He'd be an excellent pick. I've watched a good bit of his highlights and film. Looks like a very polished receiver that's dangerous after the catch with speed to blow the top off of a defense. #ride4DJ

I think he’d be successful but I’m not sure how much better he is than 3 other 3rd round guys norSnead

Christian Kirk is my pick at 27. Saints need a dynamic playmaker at WR opposite Thomas and he's it, speed galore and incredible punt returner also. Some mocks have him going to Carolina and I'd hate to see them get another dynamic playmaker after taking 2 last year in McCaffrey and Curtis last year.

If the choice is between Kirk and Moore, I'm taking Kirk. Not that Moore isn't a good player, but Kirk had big time production from the moment he stepped on A&M's campus. Moore really came on in his final season at UM. Kirk did it against SEC defenses.

Kind of the same player, but I just think Kirk is just a better at what they bring to the table.

Kirk would put up incredible production with Brees throwing to him, and make it much easier for Thomas to operate. I know his combine 40 was disappointing, I expected him to be more 4.38 than the 4.46 he ran, but he plays much faster. He is solidly built and can break tackles along with his elusive ability, he benched 20 times at the combine. Dude is a natural at returning punts.

He posts vids on insta of him training and whatnot.

Dude is FAST! And he seems to have his head in the game.

I think he will be good in the NFL.

He drinks protein shakes with liver, I’d think he’s dedicated.

is BPA. No reason to start locking in positions when we need to be flexible with certain contracts coming up, and other players likely to become cap casualties in the next year or two.

Only positions off the table in round 1 (and 2-4 as well) are FB, K, and P. Everything else should be looked at.

This is exactly how I feel. Take the top player on the board or trade down(which we never do)

The coaches better be damn sure about a WR to take him at 27, b/c there are some pretty damn good options in the 3rd round.

As of right now...I'm liking Leighton Vander Esch, O-Line, & DT. I'd be cool with Joshua Jackson at CB if he fell to us as well.

We could use a DE, but I'm not exactly sold on Sam Hubbard. Pretty sure he's the only 4-3 DE that will even be an option at 27.
