Crawfish for Easter

I’m in a bind fellas! I have never not been able to get crawfish for Easter but this year is freaking crazy! I live in French Settlement and have called everyone I can think of, from CC’s in Donaldsonville to TNT in Springfield and can’t find any!
I’ll pay whatever, I just need a sack if anyone has any suggestions/CONNECTIONS! $$$

Try Capital City Crawfish on Government in BR. They just made a Facebook post about live crawfish a little while ago.

You should be able to find some for Easter Sunday. It's Good Friday that's the day with the biggest demand. I thought most everyone went to meat on Sunday.

I tried to reserve a sack with my usual guy. His words, "I'm not reserving sacks for Sunday. You get here at noon, the truck gets here at 12:15."

The folks off Old Jefferson right on bayou manchac. Little pricey this year but they let you reserve them. Hold tight and I’ll try to find the number.

For anyone paying attention to this thread, I called the number that Muice posted, then I hung up immediately and said to myself that I was going to call in the morning. Well the guy calls back and wants to take my order, and he tells me he will have crawfish!

Yeah, that’s not true. Like, at all. Easily 3-4 times the demand for Sunday. But Friday and Saturday are big as well.
Gonna be a bunch of upset folks this weekend. Rains last night and today will throw some farmers off of what they were expecting. There will be some who see a surge though...we always caught better the more lightning there was. Lol. But I’ve talked to a few farmers today who are very nervous with what orders they have and some of the catches thus far.
What are y’all seeing jimbeam?
