What are some of the concerts you brag about to people? Not necessarily the best show you've seen, but a show you know would sell out in 30 seconds if it went on sale today.

I've got a couple, I guess.

1997 Lakewood Amphitheater Atlanta -- WuTang Clan with Rage Against the Machine. Fantastic show and pretty funny watching a lot of the black folks leaving after WuTang got off the stage. If only they'd known what they were going to miss. Wu ended up quitting the tour before it finished. Incredible night.

2000 The Cotton Club Atlanta -- Muse. I don't mind Muse but not a big fan. Considering this is a band who ended up selling out Wimbledon, this was a cool show to see. It was sponsored by 99x in Atlanta. We showed up and the doorman let us in for free. Walk in and there are literally like 25-30 people there. The "stage" is just a 6inch step up in the rear of a dance floor kind of setup. So Muse is jamming away in this practically empty building and we're just chilling a couple of feet from them sipping on some Red Stripes. Pretty cool looking back.

saw GNR before they released their first album and had a buddy who had bootlegs so we were familiar with some of it. That was cool.

Govt Mule's deepest end show at the saenger was pretty amazing

Mastodon at Renaissance in Lafayette 2004. The club only held about 200 people but it was packed. I had just seen them the night before opening for Slayer and Killswitch Engage at the HOB, another great show.

Alice in Chains acoustic show at the HOB 2007. Wasn't sure how much I'd like an acoustic show but it was AIC so I had to go. Ended up being one of the best shows I've ever seen. Far better than MTV Unplugged.

would have loved to have seen AIC. I like that so much more now than I did at the time.

See, that's what I'm talking about. You're a lucky man...especially to see Jimi!

Yeah, he wasn't super charismatic on stage, but damn did he and his band play. They definitely played a whole set when I went.
