they literally exist get you a more in depth view of what is going on. They tell you "This player shoots x% when he gets y type of shot". Once again, their whole existence is built on the premise that they give you a greater understanding of what is happening and how you can use it to make a better team or understand the game better

To be fair, there's nothing of substance to respond to. You do this in every thread. You come in a basketball or baseball thread and make a completely off base and wrong comment about advanced metrics. People respond to that and tell you why you're wrong. You then move on to another incorrect talking point of "no one in the games use analytics and that the only people who do are those who don't understand the game". Then you just lash out when people laugh at that.

So yea, there's nothing to respond to here

And yes you are too reliant on analytics as they can be skewed to fit your narrative. But they are good to see trends and possibly predict outcomes.
