The spring PR info being released is at championship level. I sure hope that these declarations will be truthful this time.

Unless you think Rashard Lawrence, Breiden Fehoko and Foster Moreau are liars it may just be.

He won't respond because he knows that he blames/praises Aranda only when it's convenient to prop up his failure of a head coach.

I don't blame Aranda. I have stated multiple times that those were total team losses. Offense, defense and special teams. Everyone wants to lay the total blame on Eaux.

Well the defense gave up 37 and 24 points. It was due to injuries, eligibility issues and depth but this board has to blame one person. So who gets the credit for giving up 37 points?

if we don't figure out 3 good corners and a couple backups for them.

I'm not all that worried. Todd Harris is now practicing at the nickel. I'm confident he can handle it. If Aranda didn't have confidence in him, he wouldn't have moved him there.

Not to mention, that I heard a lot of good things about Jontre Kirklin last season. In addition, Kary Vincent who is competing with him at the same spot is also super fast and very talented. Indeed, Vincent is on the track team.

Then don't forget that we also have Kelvin Joseph coming in who is going to be a corner also. He was recruited as a safety because he moved to safety in his senior year, but prior to moving to safety, he was a cornerback for two prior seasons and when he was a cornerback, he was a 5-star recruit and then dropped down to a high 4-star when he became a safety. Thus, apparently, he is a better corner than he is a safety.

Then O will probably also sign that Stanford graduate player next month when he visits.

Lastly, the attorney currently representing Kristian Fulton indicated a couple of weeks ago that he believes he has a strong case and he also said he believes that Kristian will be allowed to play this season.

He also says that if he loses this latest appeal, which he doesn't expect to lose, that he still has another appeal that he will file, but that one won't be decided until after the season has already started.

Go for it.

Here is some info from the LSU website:
https://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=211151291

this is through the first seven games and is about true freshmen and doesn't take into account the redshirt freshmen.

quote:

True Freshmen Continue to Play Big Roles at LSU
* So far this season, 20 true freshmen have played for the Tigers, which is tied for the most in the nation after seven weeks of the season.
quote:

* With Charles' start against BYU, he became the first true freshman to start a season opener on the offensive line since at least World War II.
quote:

* LSU's eight true freshmen starters in 2017 are the most since at least 2005
quote:

* The four true freshmen (Charles, Chaisson, Taylor and Delpit) who started the season opener matched the total number between 2000-16.
quote:

* The four true freshmen starters were the most in the nation to start the 2017 season
quote:

* Against BYU, 17 true freshmen saw action for the most by an LSU team in a season opener since at least 1995.

* The following is a list of true freshmen who have played this season: QB Myles Brennan, TE/F Tory Carter, LB K’Lavon Chaisson, RG Saahdiq Charles, OG Austin Deculus, FS Grant Delpit, RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, DE Neil Farrell Jr., S Todd Harris Jr., OG Ed Ingram, WR Justin Jefferson, CB Jontre Kirklin, WR Racey McMath, WR Mannie Netherly, LB Jacob Phillips, LB Patrick Queen, WR JaCoby Stevens, LB Tyler Taylor, DE Justin Thomas, CB Kary Vincent Jr.

He is the HC right?

Since when doesn't the HC assume most of the responsibility for losses? It's like that everywhere, but here apparently.

Right - one would think - because of the importance of the position, we would recruit 3 QBs per class until we have an upper classman who can flat out play and a freshman who can flat out play, then you can drop to 2 QBs per class for maintenance. We've been running things with transfers and athletes pressed into position for over a decade because we simply cannot find, identify, recruit, keep, develop and play a fricking QB if our lives depended on it.

Sarcasm. It is hard to convey on a message board. Everyone was bitching about the offense. Well, the defense didn't exactly light it up in those two games.

P.S. - I've been looking for a post of mine I did about the number of people who are allowed to recruit for a program. I think the number is 15 or 30 but can't find it. Can you help me out? Thanks !!!

I think it was in a Kevin Faulk thread and was about off-campus and on-campus recruiting.

Don't sleep on 6'5" 242 pound Andre Anthony, he's finally back, about 90 percent right now, but he's big, strong, and fast. He'll also be practicing at the B LB spot and he has looked good so far in practice from what I have seen.

Then we also have Dantrieze Scott coming this summer. I don't know what he will play, but I'm guessing with all those tackles he had last year, it will also be at the B linebacker spot. So I'm guessing we can easily rotate players in and out without any drop-off.
