McCabe's attorney, Michael Bromwich, used to work for the DOJ as an Inspector General back in the '90's. Is he now suing the DOJ for firing McCabe and is that a CoI or doesn't it matter?

It is not a conflict. Only a conflict if he worked on the case while he worked for that agency.

Probably half the people suing DOJ used to work for DOJ, it's a big resume chip if you end up private practice.
