One of my best friends from high school's little brother, George Pickens, got offered by LSU this past weekend. He's a 4* WR currently committed to Auburn.
Grew up loving LSU because it's all me and his big bro ever talked about. When big bro was being recruited we went down there for the LSU bama game in 2010, which was a raucous atmosphere and a huge tiger win. George got a picture being held by Mike the Tiger and met his idol, Patrick Peterson. He was in love ever since.
Now he has the opportunity to play for his childhood favorite team. It really is a dream come true for him and I couldn't be prouder of someone I consider a little bro of my own.
He loves Auburn as well and has a lot of close relationships there, so it'll be a tough decision on him, but I'll wish him the best wherever he goes.
Just thought I'd share with you guys. Geaux Tigers!

Their family is like my second family. We'll all be getting down to Baton Rouge together to hang out and catch a baseball game soon this spring

Thanks to the original post for the well articulated insight into this young man's background. Any good player that loves LSU has my support, even if AU is his other choice. I hope he chooses LSU - it has got to be a better overall experience than the drab village on the Plains.
