I know so 2 days ago but can’t say it enough of how extremely lucky to have landed Wade we are. Watching him the other night he is the perfect SOB to get butts in the seats moving forward with his excitement. Plus he has such a subtle way with ability to rattle other coaches cages when they misspeak and backs his team like no other.

I didn't even know LSU played basketball since Big Baby left until Wade got here.

Is there another coach in the country that you would trade him for? I'm considering his age vs the other coach's ages. I'm considering his recruiting and coaching ability as well. I don't know that I would want any other coach more than him. Of course, this is considering he would stay here long term.

Probably not, just again based on the excitement he displays because he is still relatively new to the game at 35 and has many more years of passion and learning left to go. Perfect guy for where we are and where he intends to bring us into the future.

Who the hell knows this upcoming run may be something equivalent to our 10-15 Golden years of Football. Maybe even more special if he sticks around and gets the support he needs. A guy like this will not settle in and make this his home if the support and progress toward all things needed to be great isn't at 110% it doesn't take a genius to realize that about him.

Is he really that smart and great?? Wade had to admit that he got trolled by a message board post and admit Marlin never said LSU was scared. Let that sink in: an SEC coach got baited and trolled.

He also said his criteria in scheduling is to schedule teams that win a lot and he thinks LSU can beat them at their place. The Cajuns have won 20+ games 5 years in a row. If LSU can beat them on the road, what’s the hold up?

Honestly it may go down as the greatest hire LSU has ever made. I truly believe he will win a national championship before he leaves here

He said it after the game on Wednesday... they've literally scheduled better teams, 3-year rolling RPI wise, than ULL.

I just hope we spend some money in the offseason renovating the inside of the PMAC.

He also said the SEC won’t allow LSU to schedule the Cajuns. So if that’s true, why can Ole Miss? Georgia? Auburn? Alabama?

Let this sink in: he still beat the ULL team with the most wins in school history.

He has the number three ranked recruiting class in the nation coming in next year. I seriously doubt Bob Marlin wants any part of that.

Well if Jordan Brown commits to Cajuns, they won’t be too scared. Made official visit 2 weeks ago. Down to Cajuns & Cal...

That's Dion Brown's son, right? Good get if he chooses ULL.

It still wouldn't be enough to beat the Tigers with the roster that Coach Wade is putting together.

I’d agree it would be very difficult.
